Tremendous Cheesy Pepperoni Stromboli
Golden crust envelops gooey cheese and pepperoni for a flavorful Italian-American favorite. Perfect for game night, parties, or a cozy dinner!
Ingredients
1 pizza dough, rolled into a rectangle
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup sliced pepperoni
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Assemble the Stromboli
Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly down the center.
Add a layer of pepperoni slices.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top.
Fold and Seal
Fold the long edges of the dough over the filling, overlapping slightly.
Tuck in the short ends to seal the stromboli completely.
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
Brush and Bake
Brush the top with the beaten egg for a shiny, golden finish.
Optionally, place a few more slices of pepperoni on top for extra flavor and visual appeal.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.
Cool and Serve
Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
